1 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware -- Not wireless   November 20, 2008
6 out of 9 found this review helpful

Beware, as they do not tell you that in order to connect the device dongle to whatever remote device you want to use you will have to use the included docking station and power supply. The docking station must then be connected to the device using a USB cable (not included) In addition, you'll have to have someplace to sit the docking station and you will have to have a power outlet near the docking station. How all this qualifies as "wireless" is beyond me. It may not be "useless," but if you're banking on a wireless setup that involves just plugging one dongle into your computer and the other dongle into your device, then you, like me, will be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic product   November 6, 2008

I bought this to connect my iPod docking station which is currently sitting on top of my Hi-fi stack. Syncing with the PC is a real pain as it involved extracting the fiddly cable from the mess of wires that develops at the back of the stereo every time.

Set-up works great and driver installation is a doddle. For me it works great at a range of 10ft or so.

Would recommend - thinking about getting one for my printer.

4 out of 5 stars printing works great   October 28, 2008

I ordered this product to be able to move the printer off of my desk. Had it up and running in less than 10 min. I have Windows Vista and the correct drivers for the adapter were in the enclosed CD. The number of bars displayed on the wireless connection monitor almost reaches the maximum, with my printer placed 10 feet away. I haven't yet tried scanning, but printing works great.
