Great product for the price. December 25, 2008 For the money these are great speaker stands. Assembly required but fairly easy to put together. I used some wood glue during assembly to add to their strength. They look nice and are supporting a pair of JBL L830 speakers which are very heavy bookshelf speakers. The non skid pads on the 5" top supporting surface really help. Will buy another pair soon.
sanus system bf-24 wood speaker stand December 12, 2008 i could have return this product if not for my son throwing the boxes away. one of the stand cracked while putting the screw, in fairness to sanus the appearance of this stand looks great.
Cheap looking and made. August 20, 2008 You get what you pay for and I should have saved my money. The fake wood split as I put in a screw following the directions. And the packaging is not friendly to return the item. Junk. Already put in the trash. Just threw my money away on this bad product. Don't waste your money, buy something else.
Good stands, given price August 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These speaker stands were among the cheapest I found. The material is fairly light but sturdy, and the stands were easy to put together. Before you purchase, make sure to measure out the height of the stands as well as the size of the platform that holds the speaker -- the picture makes the stands seem taller than they are. I am using them to hold the front left and right speakers from an Onyko 7.1 speaker set. The speakers fit almost perfectly, although they are tall and easily able to be knocked off the stand. My only criticisms is that the plastic snap-on back panels do not fully cover length of stand, letting light shine through the small gap in front where the two angled panels meet. This is a minor flaw and is not very noticeable unless in certain lighting/placement conditions.
Very sturdy design and perfect for my Onkyo speakers! August 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have tall Onkyo speakers out of a package and is very heavy. This product holds that product up very well. The base is weighted so there is no swaying. The only complaint I have is the stubs the product comes with for "added" stability. It doesn't push through in my carpet which is fairly standard carpeting. I don't use them and still have great stability for my heavy front Onkyo speakers. I believe it also came with rubber stoppers to stick to each corner of the bottom of the speaker to add stability to the speaker too. Great product!
