 Great Deal For Quality Speaker Stands December 21, 2008
These speaker stands work great for miniature style home theatre speakers. They're pretty simple to assemble and work great with Sony speakers and cost way less than what Sony charges for their stands. These also don't have a big footprint on your floor so that makes them very ideal when space is an issue like placing them in a tight corner or near a doorway yet they are still sturdy enough that they won't tip over very easily. They have a cast iron base and speaker wire can be ran thru the poles so wire isn't just dangling from your speakers. For the price they can't be beat. Buy it!
 Simple assembly, decent construction December 13, 2008
These stands are well constructed and were easy to assemble. I was impressed with the amount of hardware provided for different speaker types. I would recommend these to my friends.

1. Even though it says 'stand' in the product description, it is 2 stands in the box.
2. The compression nut that screws down to immobilize the top half is plastic. Should be metal. Be careful screwing down too tight or you may strip threads.
3. If you have Bose speakers, they will not fit with the attachments given. You will need to go to a hardware store, buy 3" brackets & a round file. You get the idea ...
4. Base and bottom half of stand are fine.
Very disappointed in the compression nut. Otherwise fine stands, if you do not have Bose speakers.
Small and Sturdy Stands August 20, 2008
These stands are made with a heavy base and are easily adjustable. They come with various screws and setups for different speakers, but bear in mind that only small satellite speakers will fit into its bent shape. The assembly was very easy.

Bought these speaker stands after reading some reviews on Amazon. I thought, 'what the heck, if they stink, I'll only have spend $35'. I was surprised when they arrived and I assembled them. The stands are as well constructed as you would expect, with adapters for just about any kind of satellite speaker you'll find (keyhole, etc). I bought the first set for my rear speakers and am now getting ready to buy a second set for the front speakers to elevate them off the bookshelf. Good product with excellent value.
